COVID-19 - Deferred VAT Payment Scheme
HMRC has launched the Deferred VAT Payment Scheme to allow businesses more time to pay the VAT they deferred from last year.

COVID-19 - Late Payment Charges for Self-Assessment
On 19 February 2021 HMRC announced that they will not charge the usual 5% late payment penalty as long as you pay any self-assessment tax you owe or set up a time to pay plan by 1 April 2021. However, interest will still be charged on any late payments at a rate of 2.6% pa.
