We've been helping our clients with their tax and accounting needs since 2008. 

In 2019 we outgrew our home office and moved into a small office based in the heart of Knebworth.  In 2022 we moved office to be even more central within the village.

We offer an affordable accountancy and taxation service to individuals, sole traders, small to medium sized businesses and new startup businesses.

The Book Monitor Ltd was started by Suzanne Andrea, who is a qualified accountant and fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Our team has vast experience using Quickbooks Online, Receipt Bank, VT+ Accounts software, Xero accounts software, Sage accounting software, Excel spreadsheets and manual books to maintain accounting records.  We also take a special interest in trouble shooting and clean-up work (i.e. sorting out accounting records that have “got out of control" or in a muddle).

The Book Monitor provides each client with a bespoke service, taking time to understand how their business works and what makes the client tick.  This enables us to ensure that all the accounting needs are met and that the client isn't paying more tax than they should.  In this way the client is able to clearly see how their business is performing, how to continue trading successfully and can be confident in the knowledge that their accounting and tax needs are being fully met.
